Studio portrait of 3142 Private (Pte) Roy Cecil Glover, 12th Battalion. A labourer from North Hobart, Tas prior to enlistment, Pte Glover embarked with the 10th Reinforcements from Melbourne on HMAT Port Lincoln on 16 October 1915. Later transferring to the 52nd Battalion, he was wounded in action and evacuated to England where, on 8 December 1916, aged 23, he succumbed to his wounds and was buried in the Leicester (Welford Road) Cemetery, England.
