Description
Sari Bair Ridge, from Rhododendron Spur, on the extreme left, to Nek. Sniper's Nest was situated on the first spur on the left, from which the Turks could see over Walker's Ridge on to the beach. The next scarcely discernible rise is Battleship Hill along which the Turks had dug a line of trenches. The true Nek, on the right of the picture, was well behind the Turkish lines.
