An electric message conveyor viewed from the 18th Lines of Communication Signals Office on its return from the Headquarters, New Guinea Force Message Centre, a distance of approximately 400 yards. The two sets of rails are for handling “UP” and “DOWN” traffic. The message is in the body of the carrier to ensure protection from the weather.
