Men and officers gathered in a cemetery follow the chaplain as he reads the service at the unveiling of the memorial to fallen members of the 1st Australian Division. Visible in the centre are the graves of 5714 Private T McWilliam of the 1/7 Gordons, killed in action December 1916; 2375 James Lough Borthwick of D Company, 51st Battalion, died of wounds 3 April 1917; 5619 Private John Banks Hughes of the 21st Battalion, died of wounds 20 March 1917.
