A convoy of Afrika Korps vehicles moving throught the desert. The vehicles normally travelled at intervals of approximately one hundred metres in case of an air attack, which, in the case of this photograph, was apparently unlikely. This is one of a series of photographs that belonged to a German officer who was captured on 24 October 1942 during the Battle of El Alamein.
