Studio portrait of Richard Henry Hallams
Description
Studio portrait of 5345 Private (Pte) Richard Henry Hallams, 19th Battalion, of Artarmon, NSW. An 18 year old grocer when he enlisted, he embarked from Sydney on 22 August 1916 on HMAT Wiltshire. He was killed in action on 17 April 1917, less than four months after he arrived in France. The original print is attached to a 1919 NSW Edition of the All Australian Memorial book.
