Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey. April 1936. The grave stone of 836 Private R.J. Coates of the 2nd Battalion, AIF, in Lone Pine Cemetery. It is noted that the grave stone states it is believed the man stated is buried in the grave. (Donor Department of Defence, Melbourne)
