Brewer of the 12th Battalion AIF, who died on 22 August 1915, aged 24 years; 1580 Private Edwin Mervyn Lear of the 7th Battalion AIF, who died on 18 August 1915. Private Lear is also shown on some records as Edward. (Donor President of Malta)
