The graves of 1368 Private (Pte) Ernest Percival Wright, 12th Battalion, 1100 Pte Robin Hubert Ghest, 13th Battalion and an unidentified British serviceman. Pte Wright, a labourer from O'Halloran Hill, SA prior to enlistment, embarked with the 3rd Reinforcements from Adelaide on HMAT Itonus on 15 February 1915. Whilst serving at Gallipoli, he was accidently wounded and evacuated to Egypt. On returning to his unit he was wounded in action and evacuated to Malta where, on 6 September 1915, aged 24, he died as a result of his wounds. Pte Ghest, an estate agent from Five Dock, NSW prior to enlistment, embarked with C Company from Melbourne on HMAT Ulysses on 22 December 1914. Whilst serving at Gallipoli he contracted dysentery and was evacuated to Malta where, on 10 September 1915, aged 30, he died as a result of his illness. All three men are interred in the Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.
