A cross marks the grave in the Oxford (Botley) Cemetery, Plot I/2, Grave 3, of 405788 Flight Sergeant (Flt Sgt) Phillip Eena Devine RAAF, of 1492 Target Towing Flight RAF, who died 24 June 1943, in the Oxford (Botley) Cemetery, Plot 1/2, Grave 3. Flt Sgt Devine's promotion to Pilot Officer had probably not reached his unit before his time of death. He was the son of Clarence Roy and Ellen Mary Devine of Gradule, Qld.
