Studio portrait of QX6542 Captain Colin William Clerk Dossetor. Capt Dossetor had served with the 6th Division, Royal Australian Engineers in the Middle East. Later as a captain with 1st Australian Paratroop Battalion he was accidentally killed on 24 August 1943 when making an experimental parachute jump and landed in the Cataract Dam, NSW and drowned.
