Bangalore, India. August 1944. The funeral service for AUS420211 Warrant Officer (WO) Keith Knodler RAAF being conducted by an RAF Chaplain at the RAF base at Bangalore. WO Knodler, an Australian pilot flying with No. 30 Squadron RAF, was killed in a flying accident while converting (flying training) to Thunderbolts at No. 8 Thunderbolt Flying Unit. The escort party and the guard of honour are formed up at WO Knodler's grave. (Donor K.H. Godfrey)
