After being invested with the Military Medal (MM) at Government House, Sydney, Sergeant Les Stephens of Coogee, NSW, receives a congratulatory kiss from his sister, Mrs P. Tait of Coogee, NSW (left), and his fiance Miss Valerie Hamilton of Ashfield, NSW. Les, a member of 12 Field Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery (RAA), won the MM while on a tour of duty in Vietnam.
