Description
Informal group portrait of soldiers preparing to eat Christmas dinner outside the tent lines of a camp. Amongst the food laid out on a cloth on the ground are decoratively cut melons sitting on tins and cakes surrounded by pieces of fruit. A number of the men, possibly from 7th Battery, 3rd Field Artillery Brigade (3FAB), wait with their cups and dixies ready to enjoy the meal.
