Description
Copy of the letter sent to DVA outlining experiences as a POW of the Germans in various camps, including mining coal at Wodna `P' punishment camp in Poland and recollections of forced march from Dombrova to Regensberg in Bavaria from January to March 1945. Mentions lack of food, frostbite, liberation by Americans. Includes map and copy of article about similar experiences of New Zealander Eric Gallagher.
