Agnone, Sicily, Italy. c. 13 August 1943. RAAF personnel examine the results of a 1000 pound bomb dropped by Axis aircraft on the previous night. The nearby Kittyhawk aircraft suffered a "very near miss", but in comparison to the bomb dropped has sustained very little damage.
