Description
A depiction of five soldiers, one sits in front of a makeshift gaming table. Another, wearing glasses, places a bet. The soldier running the gaming table and another standing close by are both wearing slouch hats and smoking. All five are in uniform, the soldier with the glasses bearing an 'A' arm patch, standing for 'ANZAC' and indicating that he served at Gallipoli.
This drawing is attributed to Louis Vasco - the artist's given name was Vasco Loureiro but he enlisted as Louis Vasco and has signed his name 'Vasco', 'Spr Vasco'.
