Haramura area, Honshu, Japan, c. 1950-09-13. Members of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), use branches broken off trees and bushes to camouflage a Chevrolet 'Blitz' truck. The soldiers are taking part in Exercise Bolero at Haramura, BCOF's main field training centre, in preparation for their imminent move to Korea. (Donor I. Robertson)
