Honshu, Japan, c. 1950-08-03. On a narrow country road on the way to Haramura, a convoy of military trucks and jeeps carrying members of C Company, the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), pauses for a rest in the shade of some trees. The soldiers, most of them wearing helmets, are taking the opportunity to stretch their legs. They are travelling to Haramura, BCOF's main field training centre, to take part in Exercise Experimental in preparation for 3RAR's move to Korea. (Donor I. Robertson)
