Description
Empty Al Hussein nerve agent warheads (right) for SCUD missiles were destroyed by placing a single charge in the central fuse well in the base of the warhead. The two R400's (left) are ex US Navy bombs that were converted to carry nerve agents. These weapons were destroyed by members of the United Nations Special Commission (UNSCOM) under the United Nations (UN) mandate which required the destruction of everything related to chemical warfare.
