Australia, c. 1952. Portrait of Sergeant William Josiah Rowlinson DCM. Sergeant Rowlinson (then Corporal) was awarded his Distinguished Conduct Medal for his actions on the 23 and 25 April 1951 in Korea. Sergeant Rowlinson was also awarded a Bar to his DCM for his actions on 1951-10-05 in Korea. Sergeant Rowlinson was later promoted to the rank of Captain in the Regular Australian Army. (Donor; W.
