c. 1917. A portrait of Lieutenant James Glen McDonald, 19th Battalion. Lieutenant McDonald died on 1918-04-07 and his name appears on the Villers Bretonneux Memorial, France. This portrait is taken from a composite photograph presented to the Abermain RSL by the ladies of the Abermain Comforts Fund. The composite photograph comprises portraits of the twenty five servicemen from Abermain who lost their lives in the war of 1914-1918 (Australian War Memorial negative number P01920.001).
