Description
Lee-Enfield No I Mk I* Rifle. Receiver marked B.S.A. Co 1902 LE I* and knox form stamped 4 MD with 3044 over 8397 crossed out. Butt marked NSW 6397 2/04, S between two arrows, I/28 2 arrows CMF/4MD and VDC 3044. A short magazine Lee-Enfield barrel dated 6/33 has been fitted to this rifle. The rear long range sight has been removed and the wood fore-end shortened.
