Akyab, Burma. C. 1945-01. An aerial photograph taken from an RAF aircraft of Eastern Air Command during the landings, shows the port and jetty of Akyab. The two ships were sunk as a result of RAF bombing, and were not scuttled to obstruct the entrance to the port.
