Flight Lieutenant (Flt Lt) Lloyd George Mason of New Zealand (left); Wing Commander Ray Harries DSO DFC and two Bars, who has eighteen and a half enemy aircraft to his credit (centre) and Keith E. Hooper, war correspondent for Truth Newspapers, New Zealand (Australian). Flt Lt Mason shot down two German aircraft in under five minutes to record his first score.
