Collection relating to the Second World War service and post-war career of VX20321 Lieutenant General Sir Horace Robertson, KBE, CBE, DSO, British Commonwealth Occupation Force (formerly 10 Light Horse and 19 Infantry Brigade), 1934-1954.

Wallet 8 of 12 – Wallet consists of official and personal correspondence and papers relating to: a military award received by Robertson, Robertson’s retirement, the Soviet Union and communism, the occupation of Japan by the Allies after the Second World War, Robertson becoming the Patron of the Robinvale Pipe Band, as well as a report on the defence of Western Australia (1942), a graduation list for 2nd class 1914, a letter of congratulations from Charles Henry Brand, material on international affairs and the defence of Australia, a report on code words for the 6 Division, a battle diary of the Battle of Bardia, a diary of events of the Libyan campaign, notes on the history of China, Japan and Korea, and notes on the British Commonwealth Occupation Force.
