Anti-war demo DPR/TV/841
Description
On Sunday 19 May 1968 four hundred anti-conscription demonstrators massed outside the The Lodge blocking Adelaide Avenue. The demonstrators were mostly university students from over forty organisations. This was the biggest anti-Vietnam war sit-in ever seen in Canberra with sixty nine people arrested.
