Description
`Further thoughts on Special Signals in World War 2'. Short article discussing the breaking of the German Enigma code by British Intelligence. Contains background information on the deciphering of many German and Italian codes and makes reference to the relief of Tobruk, the first battle of El Alamein and the capturing of Rommel's 621 Radio Intercept Company by Australians at Tel el Eisa. Also contains two letters written by Shirreff in 1987 relating to his post war career and thoughts on the British Intelligence Service.
