An Airborne Personnel Detector Mk3, colloquially known as a "People Sniffer". Installed in Iroquois helicopters of No. 9 Squadron RAAF, the device was able to detect by scent the presence of humans on the ground beneath the aircraft, as it flew at treetop level.
