The cortege at the funeral of 2308 Flight Sergeant (Flt Sgt) Sidney Ignatious Oliver, late of 10 (Sunderland) Squadron RAAF, based at the RAF Station, Mount Batten. Flt Sgt Oliver who died of illness was buried at the Parish Church of St. John the Evangelist, Hooe, in the County of Devon. Following the Chief Mourners (the Misses Oliver) are Group Captain Evans, Station Commander; Squadron Leader Pearce, Commanding Officer; Flight Sergeant Cartledge; Sergeant Watson.
