Collection relating to the First World War service and death of 504 Private Henry Bridge, 2 Australian Machine Gun Battalion, Australia, France and England, 16 October 1916 - 26 May 1919.
Wallet 1 of 1 - Collection primarily comprised of letters and postcards from Bridge to his family written whilst training in Australia, serving in France and convalescing in England. The collection also includes five condolence letters written by a Red Cross representative, Lieutenants Harry Edwards and Eric Samuel Everett and 297 Signaller Donald Munro after Bridge was killed in action near Villers Bretonneux on 18 July 1918.
