A controlled explosion of mines and other explosives in a marked off area of countryside. Note the red warning sign in the right foreground and others along the edge of the clearing. Australian sappers attached to the Nations Training Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC) were posted to Mine Clearance Training Units (MCTU) and gave courses in land mine identification, minefield marking and mine clearance to the local people.
