Collection compiled by Alan Wood in preparation to write the history of Services Reconnaissance Department (SRD) commissioned by the Z Special Unit Association. This wallet consists of records related to operations in Borneo including a published article by Jack Wong Sue (83783) and a detailed account of Semut I by Charles ‘Fred’ Sanderson (QX11361).

Account includes details of training and landing, downed US airmen, hand-peddling the wireless radio, details on Pa Bawang assignments, concern for Constable Usop and his family, training first guerrilla recruits, arrival of Semut II and third Semut party who parachuted into Pa Bawang, description of the track to Limbang, working with Ibans Dayaks, final days with Japanese.
