Lectures relating to the First World War, Interwar and Second World War service of Major-General James Murdoch Archer Durrant, 1933-1942.

This file is primarily comprised of lectures prepared by James Murdoch Archer Durrant during the Interwar and Second World War periods, but largely informed by his First World War service. Durrant addresses a range of overarching subjects such as administration, organisation, discipline and diplomacy, but places a particular emphasis on examining the importance of leadership and mateship within the military, themes he wrote about and lectured upon extensively following his First World War service.
