Coleman, Arthur Milton (Pilot Officer, b.1920 - d.2007)
Collection relating to the Second World War service of 420151 Pilot Officer Arthur Milton Coleman DFC, No. 149 Squadron RAF and 85 Operational Training Unit, 1942-1945.
Collection consists of:
1 x Canadian air conditioned trains envelope, containing two leave pass forms dated 30 December 1942 to 1 March 1942. Also included is a ticket stub dated 30 December 1942 for a journey from Saskatoon to Halifax, and a paper clipping of an image of the RCAF wings insignia.
1 x letter signed by Air Vice-Marshall H.N. Wrigley dated 15 November 1944 congratulating (then) PLTOFF Coleman on the award of his DFC.
1 x receipt for PLTOFF Coleman's Certificate of Service and Discharge, and Officer's Certificate of Service.
1 x letter accompanying PLTOFF Coleman's Certificate of Service and Discharge.
1 x RAAF Officer's Certificate of Service dated 10 December 1945.
1 x RAAF Certificate of Service and Discharge, given on the occasion of being granted a commission, dated 16 November 1945.
1 x double-sided sheet containing flying instructions for a Short Stirling Mk.III.
