A Centurion Mk V/1 tank of A Squadron, 1st Armoured Regiment, Royal Australian Armoured Corps (RAAC), together with an Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC), on Route 44 near the Long Hai Hills. They are part of a small column of Australian vehicles that are checking for enemy movement in the area. The tank has its gun trained towards the hills.
