Description
"A Brief History of my career in the Royal Australian Navy from 1939 to 1970". Covers Petty Officer Fernandez' service from the time of enlistment until the 1939-1945 war on various ships including HMS "Moreton Bay" patrolling the Japanese coast; HMAS "Nestor" and HMAS "Warramanga". Also includes a copy of part of Fernandez' diary about the part played by HMAS "Warramanga" during the invasion of Luzon in the Philippines in January 1945. See also PR87/105.
