Description
Short Magazine Lee-Enfield No 1 Mk III bolt action rifle. Receiver stamped LITHGOW SHT. LE III within a shield over 1916 and 4MD overstamped DP, 11898 and the serial number. It is fitted with long range volley sights and a magazine cut out plate. The barrel knox form has been cut and the firing pin broken to render the weapon inoperable. The butt is stamped DP. This rifle has a Queensland maple stock and is complete with a khaki/green webbing sling.
