Description
Thesis "The General Treaty for the renunciation of war: its genesis and perceived effects up to 1 September 1939". Examines the circumstances which gave rise to the General Treaty which was signed in Paris in 1928. Discusses the terms of the treaty and considers the effects of the treaty on international institutions. Focusses on the issue raised by the treaty - what effect, if any, in international law, did the Pact of Paris have on the concept of a just, as opposed to an unjust, war. Master of Laws, University of Queensland, 1985.
