Lawrence , AH Mr
Description
"The last hours of Anzac : the gamble of the evacuation". A short reminiscence based on the author's experience at the last hours of the occupation of the ANZAC front line. Lawrence was one of ten members of the 7th Battalion at the line with about 140 others from various battalions, while the evacuation was in progress. This is the original draft prepared by Lawrence for the 7 Battalion magazine and forwarded to the memorial after he attended the 1985 opening of the Gallipoli Gallery.
