Thesis "Internment in Australia 1939-1946". Examines the internment of German nationals in Australian internment camps specifically in South Australia. Makes use of interviews conducted with Germans interned in the camps during the period. Looks at the effect of internment on the internees and their families, the reasons for the internment, government policy towards internment and the Geneva Convention, the organisation of the prisoner of war and internee camps, internee appeal tribunals, the National Sozialistiche Deutsche Arbeiter Partei (NSDAP) in South Australia.
