History / Summary

This type of weapon was developed for use behind enemy lines by the resistance movement in Europe and by most Commonwealth commando units. Due to the short barrel under the jacket the bolt is lighter and the return spring shorter than the standard Mk II. Although an automatic weapon it was used mainly on single shot function and at close range.
