Description
British Pattern 1858 Second Model, percussion, single shot, artillery carbine. The lock is engraved ISSAC HOLLIS & SONS late HOLLIS & SHEATH BIRMINGHAM. MAKERS TO HER MAJESTY'S WAR DEPARTMENT. The tang is stamped TV 193 and the right hand side of the butt has an oval with Manufactured expressly for HERBERT & CO LONDON. This weapon is complete with a ram rod and black leather sling.
