Handwritten letter sent by Captain Adams from No 5 British Red Cross Hospital at Wimmereaux to Captain C E Gould, 6 Battalion, AIF. Captain Adams had been gassed and blinded on the Strazeele sector and the erratic nature of the writing reflects his efforts to communicate.
