Australian Memorial card with inset studio portrait of 1547 Private William Henry Hodge, 18th Battalion. Private Hodge was killed in action on either 26 or 27 July 1916 near Pozieres. Upon enlistment on 8 April 1915, Private Hodge had stated his age as 19 years, however this commemorative card lists him as 18 years and 11 months old when he was killed.
