AK 47 Assault rifle chest rig: Iraqi army
Description
Chinese made sage green chest pouch set for AK magazines. Heavily rust stained. Three central pouches, with two smaller pouches on either side of the main pouches. All pouches secured by flaps with toggles. On the rear of the set is a crude triangle with 2 Iraqi symbols painted in white on it. This triangle is the mark of the Republican Guard.
History / Summary
This Iraqi chest pouch once held ammunition for a member of the elite Republican Guard. Heavily rust-stained from the magazines it once held, it was picked up during the liberation of Kuwait.
