Fort Queenscliff 100th anniversary
Description
Covers the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of Fort Queenscliff where, in 1860, the citizens of the town volunteered to operate three cannons as part of the then Victorian Parliament's strategy for the defence of Melbourne. Includes an interview with Mr Roland (?) who served at Queenscliff. Also shows Commonwealth students at Australian Staff College and installation of restored 3 pounder Hotchkiss guns as a commemoration of the 100 year association of the army with the citizens of Queenscliff.
