Correspondence relating to the First World War service of Mary Anne ‘Bessie’ Pocock, Australian Army Nursing Service (AANS). This file contains correspondence and notes for the year 1916. In letters home to members of her family, Pocock details her service as a nurse with the 2nd Australian General Hospital in Cairo and Boulogne, and, later, as matron of the 2nd Australian Casualty Clearing Station at Trois Arbres.
