Description
German Mauser 87 mm trench mortar bipod made from steel. The bipod is made from angled steel and is bolted together. The barrel and frame are attached to the bipod. An elevation lever is attached to the right side. The bipod is painted matt grey. No markings visible.

Bipod used with the German Lanz 87 mm Mortar barrel issued to Turkish units based in Palestine during the First World War. The bipod and its trench mortar were captured in Palestine.
