Identified from left to right: back row: Lieutenant (Lt) John Royle Taylor from Hobart, Tasmania; Second Lieutenant (2nd Lt) Arthur Luke Stevens Davey MC MM from Launceston, Tasmania; Lt Squire Walter Dobson from Hobart; and Lt Mark Bensley from Brisbane, Queensland. Front row: Lt Ralph Dillon Radford from Goodwood, South Australia; Captain (Capt) William Anderson Connell DCM from Winnalah, Tasmania (later died of wounds in Belgium on 28 December 1917); Capt Lawrence Edgar Burt from Kingswood, South Australia; Capt William Richard Jorgenson from Wayville, South Australila; and 2nd Lt George Hope Campbell Hart from Glasgow, Scotland (later promoted to Lt and died of wounds in France on 25 April 1918).
